Welcome to Lakelands Physio
Lakelands Physiotherapy was established in June 2017 by Shelley Sloper. Shelley continues to direct the practice with a great team of 3 physiotherapists ensuring we can offer more appointment options guaranteeing same day appointments. We are open from Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm, as well as Saturdays from 8am to 12pm. Our team of physiotherapists allows us to offer individual pilates sessions on request.
At Lakelands Physiotherapy, we are extremely proud of our excellent reputation and will endeavour to efficiently assess your health concern and get you started on your return to your fit, healthy and happy best. We feel it is important that you understand your diagnosis and are actively involved in your physiotherapy management so as to keep you healthy and happy in your future.
We are located at Shop 32, 49 Banksiadale Gate, Lakelands Shopping Centre, Lakelands.

About Shelley Sloper
Shelley Sloper (nee. Pastuch) graduated from the University of South Australia in 2000 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Shelley worked in country Victoria and South Australia in both the public and private sectors in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Shelley then moved to the UK for 18 months working in the NHS, focusing on musculoskeletal conditions in a variety of exceptional hospitals gaining experience in orthopaedic and trauma physiotherapy.
On her return to Australia in 2003 Shelley moved to Perth and commenced work in the private sector. She became a part-practice owner at East Vic Park Physiotherapy in 2005 where she furthered her training and education completing pilates training, dry-needling, taping and shoulder courses. In 2006 Shelley established Miami Physiotherapy in Falcon and made Mandurah her home.
She completed her Masters through the University of Queensland, graduating with a Masters of Animal Science (Physiotherapy) allowing her to use her physiotherapy skills on animals as well as people! She has since sold her share in East Vic Park Physiotherapy to focus all her attention and energy on Miami Physiotherapy.
She has continued to further her physiotherapy skills with additional courses including kinesio taping and Real Time Ultrasound guided exercise training.
